Captions
It's likely there is IPTC Data with each file containing captions for the images I supply . In Photoshop this information is available under File then File Info, then Description.
If you do not have a program that can access IPTC information you should consider downloading a free program, Irfanview (for Windows) which is a very useful program for images. You will also need the plug-ins, which need to be downloaded separately. The downloads are about 7 to 8 mb
Once installed, to view the caption information, navigate to the directory where you have your images, open an image, go to Image in the top toolbar, then Information in the drop down box, then click on the IPTC Info button. You should then see the caption information.
All image files from Noel Butcher Photography come with a unique identification number eg 409B1234 which enables us to find the original file so it may be in your interest to name your copy file as a derivation of the original filename eg 409B1234a or 409B1234copy1 etc.
We strongly recommend clients backup their images in as fail-safe a manner as they have available to them. CD/DVD storage is not considered an archival system and Noel Butcher Photography makes no representations that the images on any CD/DVD supplied will be able to be accessed for any period of time whatsoever. We endeavour to back up our copies of all images in case the client loses theirs, but again make no representation that they will be available.
Should you find an image of yourself on this website and wish it removed please get in touch.
